Archeological News
Aug. 14th, 2010 08:04 pmThose of my UK friends who are interested in The Roman history of Britain probably know of this already and at least one of my overseas friends, possibly two or three, will be very interested. Very recently students learning to use archeological geophysical instruments found 'new' i.e. previously unknown, ruins in the fields between the amphitheatre at Caerleon and the river Usk and they are enormous. It seems little Caerleon was once the equal of Chester and York. Below is a link to a short article which also gives a small map of the new ruins .
