It's international book week. The rules: Grab the closest book to you, turn to page 52, post the 5th sentence. Don't mention the title. Copy the rules as part of your post.

Other early films of a similar stripe include Dream of Rarebit Fiend by Edwin S Porter.

Which Star Wars Jedi/Sith are you?

Yoda

Dynamite in a small package, and long-lasting, like the Energizer bunny. While you are wise and calm, you are able to call on your killer instincts and be kick-ass. Some may call you a ‘sleeper’. With such great power comes some arrogance, but you are quick to return to humility and fix your mistakes. You have certainly left your mark on the world, in good and bad ways, and it was kinda sad to see you go. But no need to worry, you have gained immortality even though you can’t wield your toothpick of a lightsabre anymore.

1. have you ever really lived outside the country of your birth? why or why not?
2. what was your first record/cassette tape/cd?
3. what do you think of your parents?
4. what is your relationship with your hair?
5. what kind of pens do you like?

I Yes I have lived for 3 years In England,  I have lived in Wales, the country of my Birth and my life except for those 3 years. Ah but that's not true, I hear some of my non British friends and possibly some of my British friends both are part if the United Kingdom. That is true but the lands that make up the United Kingdom of Great Britain a and Ireland were separate countries, England Ireland Scotland and Wales for much longer than they have been united and we, the natives of those countries, still think of them as separate countries, a belief that is rapidly becoming a reality as Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own 'parliaments ' though only in Scotland is it called that.

2 Lordie I can't remember that, I'm on my sixties, it was probably an early Cliff Richard or Elvis Presley. I was into Rock back then.

3 I loved them and respected them when they were alive and that has not changed since they died. When I was a tiny child I thought they had the wisdom of God and knew everything. As i grew I realised they were only human and not as well educated as they ensured I was but sacrificing many things so that I could have that education. As a teenager I thought they were terrible spoilsports because they wouldn't let me go to all night parties or wear mini skirts up to my backside in my twenties I realised they were wise beyond my teenage abilities to understand. As I got older still I came to see that a good education did not give the sound common sense and openness of heart I saw in them. Now I am beginning to believe that they were in many ways the all wise beings I had known as a tiny child, they taught me so much I can never repay them.

4 my relationship with my hair is mixed, I wear it short because it is easy to cope with and it suits me but there are times when I wish I had inherited my Father's hair which grew a mile a minute instead of my mother's which took years to grow half an inch.

5 Fountain Pens, Calligraphy pens, dipping pens that I was taught to write with at school over 50 years ago. Hand wrting was so much neater back then%)

You were born during a Waning Crescent moon

- what it says about you -

You like having a clear vision of the future, and are good at helping people set out plans to accomplish important goals. Once you're done with a task, you're done with it. You don't like revisiting or rehashing issues you think are settled. You're inventive and encourage people around you to be new and different instead of copying from the past.

What phase was the moon at on your birthday? Find out at Spacefem.com

Over on lj one of my friends has begun a project to post one new photo a day for a year and another completed the same project. It has taken me 3 days tomake up my mind but I have decided to try and do the same. So today and tomorrow I will be playing catch up by posting two photos.

I spotted the subject of this one yesterday.

Entry 24/4.2010

I've never read more than a few pages of Stephen King, I hate horror so I can't say if it is accurate to say I write like him. I have read , or more accurately listened to, James Joyce and I do use the same convoluted syntax so it's right there. Interesting.
