Travel plans

linda_joyceI'm off to the land of the Luddites again today for 2 weeks this time. I really must stop calling my friends that since they are on the net now and I will have total access to it.
I delivered my suitcase there last night and sorted out one of the husbands problems with the computer but the other seem to be insoluble( disappearing web site, I have to convince him that web sites aren't like books they don't last hundreds of years).
I also promised to put the god daughter on to an e-mail server. I thought I would set her up with Hotmail first then use that to put her on Gmail, so she can use msn messenger for chatting to her friends and Gmail for anything important. Then I've promised to try and sort out the problem they are having with the printer. I think I'll set up as a computer consultant for the totally inept, I would probably be quite good at it. I know enough to sort most minor problems and when to say take it to a technologist but not enough to frighten the idiots %).
Life will be a little easier getting to work too. I'll still need to catch two buses but it is only from one side of town to the other so 7.30 am is probably more than early enough to get my bus.
