Having left work a little late because I hate leaving a job half done, I half kill myself to get to the bus station in time for my usual bus. It arrives on time, it leaves on time, it travels about a quarter of a mile and breaks down. And there we sit and wait for the next bus up valley to come along, the one I could have caught easily if I hadn't hurried. It is true, no good deed goes un-punished.

Radio times has two different covers this week according to reapermum a Dalek one and a Cyberman one, I can't tell from what I've seen because Newport seems to have voted with their purses, the only one I could find were Daleks. So Cybermen win by 1 goal in a penalty shoot out.

I saw the Dalek cover before I watched my recording of Saturday's programme and was a bit pissed off that they gave the ending away. I mean, I know it was after it had gone out, but *lots* of people watch it later.

I have a colleague who claims he predicted Daleks from the last line the Doctor said the previous week. Something about sensing the oncoming storm.

If I had the choice and if I always bought the Radio Times (I only buy tv mags occasionally but it's always the Radio Times if do) I would buy the Daleks one. Nothing beats the Daleks, but then, I was watching Dr Who as a kiddie first time around and they really did have a big impact on me.

I was 14 when Dr. Who was first aired and the Daleks even managed to scare this 'I'm not scared of anything' teen so I can understand the impact on younger kiddies.
