Date: 2004-01-29 11:08 am (UTC)In their native habitat, mostly mountains, both sexes work in the mines and dress alike. In Ahnk-Morpork most female Dwarves stay home. Cheri joined the Nightwatch (Ahnk-Morpork police night-shift) as a male Chery and became their forensic scientist. She came out as female several books later, The Fifth Elephant I think.
Buggy is a Pixie. Before joining the Nightwatch he was a rat catcher and killed the rats by head-butting them mostly. He is independant and dertemined and loves all animals (except rats) and has a 'way' with them. All attributes I admire and hope I've got.
Howevever he is also a vicious little B. who will physically attack anyone or anything that annoys him. He thinks nothing of shinning up a human being and head-butting his nose usually breaking it (Pixie bone must have the same relationship to human bone as black hole matter has to ordinary matter. This, I hope is not one of my characteristics.
He is the Nightwatch 'spy in the sky' using an eagle he has tamed.
