May. 31st, 2006 05:55 pmI must admit it is easier to animal sit when you don't have 4 hamsters in need of care and attention. The rabbit sits in his hutch all day, does a happy dance when I put his food in and tries to hide when I go to get him out to put him in his run, SOP for the rabbit.
Pippin nags me for his food as soon as I walk into the kitchen in the morning takes one sniff and a lick to show willing then nags to go out and I don't see him all day, even when I'm there, until about 10.00pm when he waltzes in and eats breakfast. Then half an hour later demands his tea. That SOP for the cat. What isn't is that in the last year he's turned into a lap cat. The half hour he spends between breakfast and tea in the evening is spent on my lap and he wants back on after eating his tea. And he doesn't give be 10 claw acupuncture if I dare to move. The boy is getting soft in his middle age.
For the first time in years the weather has been kind to my friends as, here at least it has been sunny and reasonably warm. It ususally tips down with rain for this week s holiday.
