Right I've got half the photos on photobucket so I can start spamming you. Considering the cameraI was using was a throw away one the pictures aren't to bad. All wierd angles are purely accidently and have nothing to do with attempts at doing a Blair Witch Project in stills.

It is a beautiful house but you need to be fighting fit you live there. It's a three story house with very tall rooms on the first and second floors, you could fit two of my ground floors one on top of the other into their living room, so there are a lot of steps. Both Jill and I double checked we had everything we needed before we came down stairs in the morning. it is too much of an effort to get back up to the guest floor if you've forgotten any thing.

The guest floor? Where the maids used to live? ;-)

We have four levels, staggered, but I don't think that's as bad as three high storeys. The grounds are lovely. Is that a river or a canal?

Very pampered maids or they slept more than one to a room as the smallest room is half as big again as the bedroom you had when staying with me. The biggest is twice the size. But being up there in the eves they have very odd shaped ceilings. The water in front is good old Father Thames, in the summer when you have the windows open you are woken either to the sound of the motor cruisers on the move or the sound of coxes and trainers shouting at the rowing skulls. I prefer the latter, very Edwardian.

It is a delightful house, it would be my second choice of places to live if I had free choice of anywhere. First choice is my own house.
