But, anyway, you can see the Northern Lights (Foxfire) in Finland, yes. And you're ALWAYS welcome to stay here, yes.

Thank you, I might take you up on that if my knees ever get better enough for me to sit through a flight with no room to stretch them. I can just about cope with a 45 min bus journey in the front seat that has enough room to stretch my legs so that my right knee is not bent.

Ryanair flies about one and a half hours from London Stansted to Finland, Tampere. I'm sure that amount would be good enough for you if you ever want to visit the place!

In the meantime, I'm going to have to get Noki vaccinated for all sorts of things. The strictly indoor cat she is.

It's expensive transporting an animal across borders but at least she won't have to into quarantine when she gets here. She can stay a strictly indoor cat with me as well, as it is possible to confine her to an area away from both front and back doors so she won't be tempted, She will have a lot more room to be one in, my living room, the stairs, two bedrooms a room sized corridor and the bathroom.

Many years ago my oldest and dearest friend own a male tabby called Brandy. Up until I bought my house in Newport he had only ever lived in a first floor flat, but since it was on the edge of open country he was allowed out. As far as he was concerned downstairs was outside. The first two visits he would not come down stairs, no problem his litter tray went into the bathroom and he was fed on the landing like at home. By the third visit he had got up the courage to explore down stairs, or as he saw it the great out doors, and of course he didn't need a litter tray 'outside'. It took us about 5 visits and a trip to the real outside to convince him that he did need to use the litter tray. I love cats, they are such characters.

Have I told you have I love you?

I know it's bleeding expensive to get an animal across borders--vaccinations and all that, but I really, REALLY would love it if you could take my beloved CuddleWhore Noki:). I keep her litter box in the loo and she often accompanies me there, just to be sure that everything is as hygienic as possible! I'm sure you'd LOVE her--she is a real cuddle slut and always up for a good scritch, the enormous beast she is! And she's just so LOVING, always sleeping next to you and demanding cuddles.

I'm so glad you havce volunteered to take care of Noki, if there is any way I could repay that back to you, just let me know.

Having her around will be payment enough. I would love to have a pet but don't because I would feel so guilty about leaving them all day. Leaving Noki worries me but if you say she will be OK you know her best. And the enjoyment you have given me over the years with your stories and your lj entries is also a payment. And I love cuddle monsters, that's my one regret when I animal sit for Pippin, he is not a lap cat and when he decides to to honour you with a sit on your lap you are not move and he will only tolerate a brief scritch.

Noki is just too big to be a lap cat, sadly. I am sure she would LOVE it if she were tiny enough to fit in someone's lap!

But yes, am planning on getting her a pet passport, and Newport, Wales, here we come
