As my heading said I expected what I got, but someone as talented as you should not be in any level of hell.

I'm still loving 'Here be Dragons', if I've remembered the title rightly, my only complaint is that rl means you can't post more often.

Thank you. I'm not happy about my rl issues too, but actually we're writing chapter 9. That is, I wrote an intro-scene and now it's up to Jane Sehrn-Ta to sort out the mess I created. Please be patient: the scene will contain the next Windu/Dooku quarrel, and it will be a little tricky to get it right, because later chapters depend on their lines of argumentation.

I got purgatory, which isn't there anyway, but a mountain with as many levels going up as inferno has going down. And it gets the whole next volume to itself.

Sorry, I find Purgatory the best book of the set (and the Sayers translation is the best.)

I think I did this a while ago and I'd be there on level 3 with you. :-P

'Food glorious food
There's nothing more handsome'

I'm not glutinous I just like good food. I'll settle for small doses of it if there isn't a lot, but I prefer it to come in full plates %)

You two wouldn't be in hell anyway, you'd be on Cornice 6 of purgatory which is only one down from the top which is the earthly paradise.

Really? That's not so bad! :-D

I agree with you: I love the Sayers translation and the footnotes (and Dante getting gravity right).

I should do this for Vila.

The top four cornices are for Disordered Love of Good. So you have the slothful, covetous, gluttonous and lustful who are only slightly wrong.

At dinner last night three of us shared one dessert. I really sholdn't have had any at all, but damn, it was good!

The trouble is that you can avoid other addictions, but you have to eat.
