Or it's that abscess again. I had to go to the clinic again this morning and as the thing hasn't cleared up I am now scheduled for surgery Friday. I go in tomorrow and should be discharged on Saturday provided all goes well. It is only minor and could have been done in day surgery except for my weight. I have had blood tests,ECG, and an x-ray and have been found as fit as a woman of my age at the correct weight but I still have to spend two nights in 'just in case'. Ah well I should be glad that the NHS is taking such good care of me but I can't sleep properly when I'm shareing a bedroom on holiday with one other person, when I'm in a ward with at least ten other people and all of them strangers I know I won't sleep a wink.

With any luck I'll read you all next Sunday.
