linda_joyceIt has either been too wet or too hot for me to do much in the garden. As a result the weeds have taken over. Luckily the dominant one in the flower bed is quite pretty It's Herb Robert (Geranium robertianum)
Emerging from the midst of this mass was one solitary Canes Bill the hardy native geranium
You can see how they differ from each other in the picture.
And for the first time in years my Curry plant (Helichrysum italicum)is in full flower.
And another self seeded plant is the small forest of Evening Primrose (Oenothora macrocarpa)has appeared from no where in the corner of the lawn where the blue bells bloom in spring.
Though as you can see the lawn is now a hay meadow due to it being too wet to mow for most of last month and this.
