Spring has come to my part of south Wales

Here we count it officially spring when the first blue bells(Hyacinthoides non-scripta bloom
So here is the proof that spring has arrived

Milk maids AKA lady's smock (Cardamine pratensis)

Black thorn AKA Sloe (Prunus spinosa)


Celendine ( Ranunculus ficaria)

And brand new just out of the bud beech leaves.(Fagus sylvatica)

And lastly not one that is normally found around here but which I planted in my now fully naturalised pond some years ago
Water Buttercup AKA Giant Spearwort (Ranunculus Lingua Gandiflora)
