As those of you who took part in this year;s NaArMaMo know I took a short course on making bead jewelry last June. I took a longer course this September and have become confident enough to make a couple of presents for two very close friends. They are getting other small things as well but for my oldest friend and her daughter I have made key rings/handbag charms and I have made a necklace for cousin A. I forgot to take a photo of that but here is what is in in key rings, hb charms this year, slightly adapted in the case of my god daughter Sarah.
This is for my oldest friend Jenny. She admired a pendant I made for myself of the same design and I know she would have told me if it she didn't like it. I chose to make hers a key ring as she has been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and these pendants are heavy.

The square/squarish 'beads are semi precious stones and the rest are glass and 'silver'. What the semi precious stones are I have no idea, perhaps you can tell me.
Sharah, Jenny's daughter and recipient of the second creation, has a definite leaning to wards the macabre, which explains my choice of beads.
