This is my entry for Show_me_a_world this week.
I'm quick off the mark today as tomorrow I start my convoluted journey to Redemption. Having grown up in an era where the nearest thing to a free plastic bag from a supermarket was a brown paper carrier with string handles that you got in clothes shops and haberdashers I usually carry a couple of shopping bags in the boot of the car.. The brown bags were worse to carry than the modern carrier bag as they cut into your palm even when lightly loaded so my mother and grandmother always carried a proper shopping bag. I still follow their lead.

This shows some of my collection, I try to buy natural hesian when ever possible as it is biodegradable but because I have to use a walking stick I do have to use a bag for any thing over one item and sometimes I've used my stash so I do have a few carrier bags too. They come in very handy in the house as liners for waste paper bins around the place.

The most environmentally friendly bag you can get is a second hand shopping bag from a charity shop.
