1) Sally forth to Fanfiction.net. Gird thy loins. Plunge in.
2) Choose a book, movie, show, etc. you have never heard of (or, in a pinch, at least one you know nothing about aside from the name) that has at least ten fics listed.
3) Read only the first page of story summaries.
4) Using what you have learned from these summaries, describe what this book/movie/whatever is about. Be as silly as you like, but ONLY use whatever you just learned...
I tried 3 different films as I watch way tooo much TV(correction listen to way too much TV I'm usually on the computer with the TV as background noise)and new enough about most of the subjects to make an educated guess with out the summaries.
Either Astrogirl is a genius or she picked about the only fanfic whose authors know how to write summaries. My attempts after the cut.
My atempts
1 Murder by Numbers.
Two high school boys decide to comit a murder. Plan and carry it out but are caught in the end
2Secret Window
Set in a mental hospital the protagonist may or may not be a psychotic mass murderer/novelist.
3Moon Child
Anime, I can't make head nor Tail of most anime when I'm watching them, forget it from summaries most only one setence long.
If anyone knows any of these three please let me know what they were.
