linda_joyceWell to be honest the only thing I use these days is the long handled blue dust pan and brush on the left of the picture below.
My cleaner uses the bagless hoover on the right, and I use Hoover as a brand name here. It is the same principle as Dysons, more or less but I bought it when I was doing the housework and I find it just as efficient a little lighter and a whole lot cheaper.
My cleaner prefers it too, the hoover I mean but she uses the brush here
and a dustpan that seems to have gone walkies from the cleaning basket as the bristles of the brush are much stiffer than the long handled one and get more dust out of carpets.
She also uses this to clean the kitchen and pantry floors.
And the men who come with monotonous regularity to unblock the sewer that runs through my back yard to sweep all the gloop back into the access hatch.
