I hate going back to work when schools still out for the holidays. I trained to be a librarian not a child minder. Still I only had to raise my voice once today which makes a change from coming home hoarse from keeping order in a motly band of unsupervised kids. I suppose that's because the children at the branch I worked at today know me of old and the trouble makers tend to take one look and either leave or behave themselves.

Having the reputation of a martinet does have it's advantages
