[personal profile] wolfma showed us her beautiful Columbine, or as we call them here Granny Bonnets, a while or ago so I thought I would reciprocate when mine finally came out. That is today.

My original Granny Bonnets looked like this one in shape but about twice the size yellow and orange in colour. They have not bloomed yet and I don't think they survived this last winter. I think these are second generation as they have kept the shape and some of the colour as shown in the first thumbnail. Click to enlarge all pics.

This one is a more natural shape and colour but far larger than the wild varieties. So I think this could be third generation.

The rest of my flowers consist of White Bells and Pink Bells, Forget-me-nots and a few buttercups that you can see in the last picture of the third generation.

Oh and the Lady's Mantel has decided to forget about dominating the garden and go for world domination. It's vevn strangling the Herb Robert and I thought nothing could stop that plant.
Herb Robert, the sun is so strong today ir has totally wiped out the colour in the Herb Robert flower, that is supposed to be a deep pink not white.
