I've been sent home from work as my coughing was disturbing some of our users who consider a Reference library has to have the hushed silence you can still find in some cathedrals.

I've got a mild chest infection and as I pass my surgery on my way home I called in to see if I could get an emergency appointment. I couldn't but I am now sitting in front of the computer waiting for a doctor to phone me with advice, instead of curling up in bed and going to sleep as I want to.

All I can hope for is a nice fic being posted to take my mind off the way I feel.

Well done you for getting a noisy illness. I mean, if you felt rotten in silence you'd still be at work.

Yes and two days later I finally read it. After going back to the docs for antibiotics I slept Wednesday, Thursday and part of Friday away. Now I feel much better except I now have a head cold and can't breath through my nose. Still it's good to be conscious again.
