Sad News

I came back from taking Losyn up into the field behind his house to try and wear him out with a chuckit and a ball,I succeeded, to a message from my friend in Newport about Ringo, (http://linda-joyce.dreamwidth.org/341431.html#comments and http://linda-joyce.livejournal.com/362620.html). Over the weekend he had stopped eating and stopped trying to move, They took him up the vet this morning and were told that the kindest thing they could do for him was have him put to sleep which with great sadness they did. I have told my friend that she has a truck load of blessings coming to her for the weeks of love and care and warmth and comfort they gave him but it sadens both of us that such a lovely little thing should have such a short life.
