An other first for me

I've just done another driving first for me. Having passed my test in May I haven't had to drive in the dark since, untill tonight. I went down to Newport to deliver my 13 year old god daughter's birthday present and stayed much longer than I intended. So I had to drive home, 12 miles, in the dark, only the second time I've done any driving in the dark and the first time without my instructor.

I am elated and totaly exhausted at the same time, this driving lark is easier than I expected.

Its not so much you want to drive, but it does make going places easier. Youngest's currant boyfriend has a car, I'm no longer a permanant taxi.

That is one thing I don't have to do. I'm reserve driver if anything happens to our main driver, my cousin, it's her car I'm driving.

Good to see you are back in good health again. If I drove more often I would be at that state now, driving only once or twice a week slows me down

Yes, true. I had to drive to and from work and night classes after I learned.

And I'm not quite recovered. I have a weak chest like Vila and am about to give in and go to the doctor.
