OK I've managed to cut 148 pictures back to under 30 that might interest you.
First we have introductions and Newport Beach.

This is Bas( short for Basil, the oldest member of the pack at 12.5.

Next comes Eliot at 11 but he hasn't aged so well as Bas and looks and moves like a much older dog.

The oldest of the youngsters in Cas(short for Casidy) at 7, a middle aged lady and the only female of the pack she behaves like a much younger girl most of the time.

This one is the only pedigree amonst the pack, his name is Daley and he's a Shetland Sheep Dog but having grown from a 7 week puppy with the older ones he doesn't realise that and behjaves just like the big boys and girl. He is 3

And finally, the baby of the pack at about 18 months old, is Hugo. He is also the bouncyist and the tallest. He looks like a thin version of Losyn, we call him Losyn's younger thinner twin.

And this is their favourite time of day, we have arrived at the beah at about 8:30 am. We are the only car in the car park and there is no one on the beach. Sue takes the old boys down to the water's edge and then I let the rest out of the car, they race down the beach at the speed of light and all of them go early morning walkies with their Mum.

They look quite a handful, but I think you've said in the past that they are all obedience trained so you can manage.

Yes even Hugo is now at the stage where he will sit and stay for me as well as Sue, but he still gets over excited, especially at the beach and at those times he doesn't even listen to Sue. If he's too annoying Bas usually gives him a growl and suddenly he stops, it's amazing.

That's what I'm hoping to turn it into and get it framed for a present for Sue.

I had a lazy time, I am the one that sits in a deck chair gazing out to sea or knitting or talking to others parking near us, looking after 2 or 3 of them while Sue walks or plays ball with the others. And I get all the love from them with none of the effort of looking after them. My only problem is I don't have enough hands, when one of them comes up for a bit of petting 2, at least, of the others come nosing in too.

Such lovely cuties. A day at the beach with the doggies sounds wonderful. They all look like they have so much character.

Oh they have character all right, I could fill books with the descriptions and still not get it all in. Just sitting and watching them on the beach is all the entertainment any one could wish for.

These in deed are love in a fur coat,Elliot especially. He is the gentlest of the lot and will come and put his head on your knee just to have physical contact, he does'nt expect to be petted back and is so pleased when he is.

Then you know what happy chaos they can cause, two is the minimum number of adults you need to keep control away from home ground.

Happy chaos indeed. I really enjoyed having a pack of dogs, and I don't doubt when we have our own place we'll have a pack again.

They look lovely Linda - I thought that Hugo looks like Losyn as soon as I saw him. And running on the beach is such bliss for them I bet! I'm pleased to hear you had a restful time as well.
