1. What was her name? Esme Jane Roberts
When did she live?A small village in South Wales called Chapel of Ease.
3. Where was she born? The same house she was lived her life in.
4. What was the most heroic thing she ever did? Work in an Ammunition factory in World War II
5. What kind of movies did she like? Musicals the more magnificent the better, family stories, Old fashioned love stories(Brief Encounter was one of her favourites).
6. What kind of food? Mam was a good plain cook, her mother had made sure of that but not adventurous but she would try anything at least once and was often more adventurous with her choices when we were abroad than I was. Her favourite type was Sea food in all it's varients.
7. What would she like to be remembered for? An independent woman, a good wife and mother.
8. What was her catchword or favorite phrase? "I don't think she had one but the way she lived her life it should have been 'House work can wait' as she was always ready to drop everything to go and do something more interesting especially travel.
9. What do you wish you'd said to her? Thank you for all you did for me, especially making sure I could be as independent as you would have liked to be
10. What did you learn from her (directly or indirectly?) Common sense, the knowledge that house work can wait, life's too short to polish there's a whole wide world out there waiting to be explored

Thank you, she learned most of that wisdom from her Mother, my Gran. except for Housework can wait. Gran believed that housework must be done, but still would go exploring at the drop of a hat.
