Grumble, Grumble, Grumble.

I know I should grumble,compared to what the gulf states are going through the weather we are having today is a gentle shower but..... Where in the name of everything is this rain coming from!!!!! I suppose I should be grateful that it stayed fine for me to walk the dog this morning but coming back from cousin A's this afternoon I had all of 10 yards, probably less, to walk from the car to my house and I was soaked through to the skin. It's up a steep hill all the way but it's a hill I'm used to and I can do it PDQ,, I thought that now it's September and officially Autumn the weather might decide to be contrary and brighten up but no it is lousy out there. I'm going to bed to hibernate.

I think it is crazy, yes, you (I mean UK) usually send real bucketing here but this time not a drop!
So you have got too much and we have got too little...Crazy, I say! My garden is withered! My roses are gone - no moisture for them to bloom. And I suspect, after some time, there will come that downpour from you!

You can have some of our rain from London with pleasure. There was so much of it yesterday it was running down the road by my house like a river. I am heartily sick of getting wet even just walking to work.
