The far end of the meadow has shallower soil and is dominated by only two flowers the meadow buttercup

After the flower meadow there weren't many more flowers just masses of Umbelifera, all the same species but which one is unknown to me. My guess is Wild carrot also known as Queen Anne's lace.




And finally the boy who made all these posts possible, cooling his paws and taking a drink in the waterwheel stream.

He had a lovely walk chasing both visible(I saw their tail vanishing up a tree)squirrels and invisible ones. He needed his paddle his paws had worked overtime.

Seems like this summer is fantastic for meadow flowers. There's been such a show.
