I took my camera with me todaybut the ammount of water coming down the mountain has been drastically reduced.




This 'stream was running with white water yesterday

And this one was spraying water like a fire hydrant in a New York summer. I had to go to the edge of the drop to get this picture, you could see it from the car yesterday.


The regular streams weren't much worst than the last time I photographed them.

Still pretty cool. The only running water I see around here comes from the taps. (Thank heaven, previously it also came from the ceiling.)

I would happily send you a rain cloud or 6, we are fed up to the back teeth with rain. That running water from the ceiling is strangely familiar.

I have plenty of rain at the moment- it's rained every day this week. But since the ground is totally flat it doesn't go anywhere. Either it absorbs into the ground or it lays there in puddles.

Considering the amount of water being pushed out yesterday the water table would have fallen rapidly without any rain to replace it. It is now being topped up again.
