Back in the winter I took my camera round the  grounds of Tredegar House, I've already inflicted those pictures on you so stop worrying.  While there I bought a pack of wild flower seeds for the garden.  They came embedded in a sort of cotton fleece and were on sale at a ridiculously low price so I thought I would give them a go, I never expected them to grow they must have been very old stock  they were in the every ting 50 pence tub.    Well I  planted them this March and forgot about them and some thing has grown where I planted the fleece, some buttercups and this:-

I havent' seen much of the old girl from next door up recently, Finlay(dog) and Hobbes(cat) don't care about the weather but Semtex at 14 feels the cold and doesn't move from in front of her peoples fire from October to May. She enjoys posing in front of my bushes. She even makes the weeds look good.

While I was out there I noticed some thing strange about my Tulips, if you want to know what look under the cut.
