Thank you, I passed a happy afternoon(about 3 hours with out a customer)drawing her, and now thanks to the_little_owl I realise I can colour her with out ruining her, I've got a printer and she is uploaded.
If you're afraid to ruin the drawing, why don't you make a copy and color the copy? I do so with most of my colored stuff, because I use aquarell pencils, and with water involved you can never predict the result exactly. I have a small all-in-one copy/scanner machine, but for the bigger stuff I go to the local copy shop. They even accept that I bring my own paper, because the normal copy paper in no good for water colors.
Beautiful fairy, by the way. She'll look good in color!
That distant thumping you may just heare is me banging my head against the wall to try and knock some sense into it. I have this loaded in Photobucket, I can print out copy after copy until I get it right. Thank you the_little_owl now I can practice to my hearts content.%D
Yes the flower in her hair is a rose surrounded by holly leaves so she is a Christmas fairy and since I was having problems with her hands I gave her a snow globe to hold.
Yes I was planning to use the watercolour pencils dry on her when I was going to use the original but since I can I am also going to experiment with wild bold colours too.
