I'm beginning to find inspiration failing me. Last night I couldn't think of a thing to draw

The dragon on the left is a candle and must be about15 years old by now as he was my first dragon, he was incredibly well detailed when I first got him but 15 years of hot summers and central heated winters not to mention the dust that you just can't get off wax has made him fuzzy round the edges. The middle one is in unglazed clay, you can see the potters finger prints in his spines if you could look close enough, he has a rather sad look on his face as if no one had ever loved him, that's why I bought him. Dragon number 3 is a sleek racing dragon in a shiny British racing green, his look is a mixture of smug and eager and very appealing.

The middle one has a cute pout! Has the racing dragon got go-faster stripes? ;-)

He's my third favourite, the big ones that were on the fireplace hearth when you were over are my first two. I think I need an other entry for Naarmamo, perhaps I'll do them. Greeny does have different coloured go faster stripes but he does have deeply incised wing ridges, Any way according to my Dragonography of Pern and that little book you sent me green ones are the fastest.

It's lovely to hear the back story of the models, and you've captured the characteristics you describe very well :D

Thank you, I think my sketching has improved over the month so long as I choose something I'm familiar with to draw.

The third one is my favorite, he's so sleek and eager to go.
