There's one interesting thing about the GenderGenie thing: short sentences make you sound male.

I tested it recently when another meme was around, and I took two stories of mine: the Jesuit WIP (which is my normal style of writing) and a AU detective story in which I strive for very short sentences. The latter was considered male.
