I have been inspired to try cut work during my lunch break, yess I've been working today. It is no where near the example that inspired mt, I'm sorry but I am not searching through all 10 days of naamamo to find your name but you know who you are. My first attempt was so simple i am sure I did better in infants school. The second one is better but the cut is not as clean as I would like, considering I was using a kitchen scissors that's hardly surprising.

I haven't got it right, I must get a book on it.

Nice! You could do a green man in that method (see my post to understand!).

Just checked your post to be sure we both mean the same thing by Green man and we do. it wouldn't be easy but it might just be possible.

The photo I took is rather a complex one. The one below is a little less ...

That's very cool. Did you do it with pencils?

Thank you, that's what I Like about naarmamo last year, and this, there are things I've not tried before that I have a go at. Last year it was putting pencil to paper for the first time in40 odd years ( though those sketches never saw the light of a scanner this year it's cut work.

That's very striking and effective!

I can't remember the name of the person who posted one, but I know she used special scissors for it.

Probably curved, I did the first one with the nail scissors from my manicure set and the curves were much better.
