My cousin Beth and I are both sc-fi fans but have slightly different tastes, she likes, no loves, Voyager, I can take it or leave it. Likewise Farscape she loves, I liked.

The week I got B7 she got the first year of B5. Both of us having watched our DVDs we've exchanged.

I've just spent the afternoon watching the first disk. This really was a great series, at least the first year. I might even buy the DVDs myself but it seems so wasteful when she lives just round the corner and I can borrow them any time I want.

I haven't spoken to her yet about B7, I hope I've got another convert by the end of the week.

If you like the first season of B5, you'll be hooked on the rest of it.

Oh I was hoked on it once I discovered it but that wasn't 'til season 2.

I've never watched season one before and even Beth said it was not the best. It beats anything else that was around at the time.

Babylon 5 and Farscape are, along with B7, my three top SF programs. They all have wonderful characters. In B5, my favourites are Londo, G'Kar, and Vir. What I love about it is that they all change over time, and aren't necessarily what you think they are when you first meet them.

I agree with your favourites and would add Leneer but I think my top one has to be Vir. If I had watched from season one I would have put G'Kar as the one to embrace the Shadows and Londo as the one supporting the light, I loved the turn around. And they do all evolve throught the series just like real people change through experience and age. Most of the other Sc-fi I have watched recently have cardboard cut outs not people.

I agree. That's why those three shows are my top ones.
