I've just gone broadband no more than 5 mins ago.
I'm still having problems using the phone with the computer but the difference it has made to my down load speed is astonishing. It's going to cost me about £10 more per month after next April but so far I'm well pleased and think it will be worth it.

I'm hoping that enough people will have signed up by next April(that's April 2005)to bring the cost down a bit because after 1 hour with it I don't think I could live without it. I've solved the telephone problem too. And part of the package is a video cam. I haven't set it up yet that's tomorrows techie task. Hopefully though I will be able to put the view from my window on my little Hometown site and you will be able to see the mess I call my garden which will include my Christmas tree. Pity the snow has gone.

Yes but not this morning, I've unpacked it and found it needs a usb port and I've only got two. The printer is in one and the broadband modem in the other which means unplugging the printer every time I want to use the webcam and I'm feeling far to lazy this morning to wrestle the stack in and out of its home today.

Welcome to the 20th Century. What? Well 21st then. I had to get broadband cos my mum kept complaining that she could never get through on phone.
It's quick though!

That's one of the reasons I went broadband, friends and family kept complaining that the only way they could get to me was by e-mail. Half of them got a computer just so they could reach me.
