Beth has just phoned me to remind me that tonight is Twelfth Night so I'm logging off now to remove the decorations before the goblins get me. What a fuss it is to be superstitious!
In high school, I had a friend who was Russian Orthodox. She loved it because they bought all their presents on sale after everyone else had Christmas.
I limit myself to a small Christmas tree and the greenery and cards for the very same reason. This year I almost forgot the Father Christmas wall hanging. I was sitting waiting for my reply to Hafren to load when I spotted it.
We don't have that tradition in the US. Frankly, I wish that the goblins would get anyone who put up decorations more than 12 days before Christmas - most especially department stores!
