My Good Deed for New Year was to take Losyn for his walk by myself, he had kept Beth up half the night after Midnight telling the fireworks that this was his house and he would kill them if they came any closer. He of course is none the worse for the lack of sleep and Beth is shattered.

He had to settle for a shorter walk than yesterday, 4 miles has left me stiff but not in pain so I wasn't going to risk upping the ante to pain. We only did about 2 miles this time.

The weather was threatening to rain from the moment I started out but held off right up to the moment I put the key in the car door so some one somewhere likes me or Losyn. Anyway I’m grateful.

I've been driving when absolutely necessary since about June but it was painful but since the physio gave me the second Ultrasonic treatment on my left knee it is virtually pain free. That would be three weeks ago tomorrow and I take back all I said about Physio-terrorists, Robert is a miracle worker. I am actually enjoying driving again and I am walking properly ( bending both knees instead of walking as if my left leg was a stick of wood)which is making my right knee less painful too. Now all I have to do is convince the boss to let me try working in a branch again and I might manage to stay in libraries until I retire. Then again pigs might fly.
