Very accurate, not having any ideas of what I wanted to do after I left college I went for an aptitude test and the carreers recommended were teacher, bank clerk and something in medical technology. I even went as far as to apply for teacher training. Then I realised that I didn't like kids in general only a few in particular. God alone knows why I chose librarianship, probably the fact I would have unlimited access to books I didn't have to buy.
I'm off work again with sinusitis. Considering I'm on the healthiest diet I've been on in decades it's done nothing for my immune system. If I could find someone to do it I'd trade this body in for a newer model

Date: 2004-02-12 12:32 pm (UTC)Funny - I was a secretary for 20 years before I had a midlife crisis and did a degree in biomedical sciences. Now I work for much less money but enjoy my work. Perhaps I wasn't honest enough. Or too honest.
Sorry about the sinuses - you know, it seems there is a plague of it going round this winter.
