I did promise to upload photos of my new car a month or slightly more ago but it has been too wet since I got her to risk my camera. We have actually seen the sunshine twice this week and I've got a few snaps.

Here is my new girl Xoe.




To try and keep the back seating area turning from dark grey upholstery to Sheltie fur ones I am travelling with the back seat folded down with several layers of fleeces over it to try to exclude the fur and muddy paws from the seat. I have also had a tailgate guard fitted as a precaution against a rear end shunt springing the tail gate and Kandi jumping out. Saffron probably wouldn't as she just stands there until I lift her down when we get out of the car. This means Kandi now has room to spread out than she did in the Saxo as she would curl up behind the passenger seat and Saffron would be spread out on the back seat above her with all the room in the world. The result of this habit of both of them traveling in the passenger side of the car has lead to this.

They look very comfortable - and beautiful!

I fight a losing battle against the layer of tortoiseshell fur covering everything in my house. And, as julesjones says, whatever colour you've got, tortoiseshells can provide a contrast!

yes they can and a shaded sable like Kandi is almost as bad.

Nice car and plenty of space for your dogs. Animal fur is a bit of a pain. I have cream carpets and black cats!

That is a combination that you didn't really think about %). My carpets are mostly brown so the fur doesn't show up so badly in the house but on the dark grey car upholstery it's a different matter entirely
