On the way back from taking the close up I realised I had a lovely view of my house, it's the one with the wooden over door shelter with black tiles.



These fungi were growing out of the same tree stump.





And this was taken in Waunfawr Park in Crosskeys about 3 miles down valley feom my home.

Do the dogs ever try to eat the mushrooms? (I hope not)

No the only thing they eat when we are out is other dogs droppings, though they do like cooked mushrooms. They don't get those now that I found an essay on line saying they were bad for dogs. Thinking back on how they behaved, as if they were high on something, I don't let them have anything with mushrooms in it now. Thank you for the birthday wishes.
