I have just received my second best birthday present ever

I say second best as I, as an old lady of 61 could never be as excited as my 5 year old self who received the half terrier half Pekingese pup who became Sooty my constant childhood companion.

Sue has just phoned and told me that Saffron's hydro therapist has said she has had as much good out of the treatment as she can and I can go and fetch her as soon as I can make it. That will be a week next Friday, the 30th of October. I will be staying the weekend for a quick lesson on grooming and foot trimming, the fur not the nails and returning on the Monday with my own dear Saffron. And I am scared to death and excitedly looking forward to it at the same time. I'll take photos when we are home in places that are recognisably my home. More about her when I get her.
