Weather update

At 2:30 today after 3 days of gradual thaw the gritting lorries mad their way up a nearly snow free hill. Cousin A and Beth went down to A's house to pick up mail and to do a bit of shopping in Abercarn, that took them about 2 hours. They started home about 4:30 and during the .75miles walk it started to snow. When they got back around 5 it was snowing heavily, the sort of icing sugar blizzard. This is what my snow free hill looked like by 6:30


Auntie N won't be able to come home again before th snow goes and I'm not letting A go home alone so it would seem that I have guests for at least until Monday next.
